The Glengarriff harbour stroll is particularly gentle, with plenty of benches and quiet spots to rest while you take in the views. We also offer shorter options around the Italian gardens on Garnish Island if you'd prefer a more leisurely experience.

You'll take a short ferry from Glengarriff pier — it's only about 10 minutes across the water. We arrange everything in advance, so there's no faffing about with queues. The ferry runs regularly throughout the day, and we time your visit to avoid the main tourist crowds, so you get a more peaceful experience exploring the gardens and headlands.

The gardens on Garnish Island are genuinely unique — built in 1910 on an otherwise rocky island off the Cork coast. You'll see Mediterranean plants thriving in an Atlantic setting, plus the historic Martello tower and incredible coastal views you simply can't get anywhere else.
